I know that I can install rekordbox on my iPad and have some functionalities with it.
I am not really want to use the iPad providing tracks to the set.... might be useful at some Point in time but if I want to use rekordbox for playing a set I would bring my Laptop. I think the functionality on the iPad is just Basic...
However I would love to use the iPad as a kind of remote Control or second Screen i.e. to Control 1 or 2 CDJ / XDJ, view track Information, hot cues / Memory cues.
Not sure how this could be implemented either via Network (wireless) or i.e. via ProDJ Link and USB Connection to a mixer like the DJM-900nxs2.
But if possible it could gain a lot of flexibility while in a set.

It will control functions on the Rekordbox software separately to anything else you have connected (CDJs, XDJ, Wego, etc..) and you can connect it via WiFi or USB. I am not sure if you can assign TouchOSC to the platter to cue or scratch anyway??

I am in the process of creating a iPad / Rekordbox template for TouchOSC (http://hexler.net/software/touchosc) and will upload it and the midi file when complete. You will still need your laptop or computer on while using the iPad though.
If there is anything in particular you would like to see on it, just let me know and I will try and incorporate it in :-)

Just that I get it right. With this template you will establish a Midi conection with the computer and control rekordbox which connects to the CDJ / XDJ via HID?
So you are not controlling the CDJ / XDJ directly but via rekordbox?
Just trying to understand the concept.
