How can disable or enable app nap for record box on el captian? The unchecked box under general is no longer there and if I can't will it affect record box DJ during performance?
Correct, Caffeine is only to keep the screen awake.
Some applications provide the option to allow AppNap, such as Serato DJ:
But other applications are hard-coded not to allow the program to use AppNap. As you can see, rekordbox doesn't even offer the option:

You can only disable app nap system-wide using terminal. Just google it.
or u can use caffeine for mac http://lightheadsw.com/caffeine/ ;)
Caffeine has nothing to do with app nap as far as I know. It's just prevents the monitor from sleeping
