For your XDJ-RX3, check the settings in Utility > Preferences > Pad Mode. You can configure pad behavior (Gate Cue, Hot Cue, etc.) there without needing Shift. To restore factory functions, perform a factory reset via Utility > Factory Reset. If the issue persists, there may be a hardware problem.
