Pioneer djm 900 nexus 2 as audio interface

hello, 

I’m a djm 900 nexus 2 owner and I’m trying to make it work as an audio interface with my daw which is fl studio. I have the latest drivers and firmware and I am using windows 10 64 bit. I already have a separate working audio interface, but I’m interested in experimenting with the mixer and it’s functinalities within my daw. The problem is that the djm asio drivers seem buggy and I get no audio in Fl studio when the djm asio driver is selected. I can get some of the midi functions to work but after a while it just freezes everything. I can record my dj sessions fine in traktor, but I want the ability to use the mixer in my daw as well. I have tried in both 32 and 64 bit versions of fl studio to no avail. This is not a FL studio problem since I have the same exact problem in audacity. Please help with this problem as it’s really starting to frustrate me.

Hi here i too have the same problem as you ,I’ve had the djm900nxs2 for over A year and have experienced nothing but trouble were Asio drivers are concerned. Windows 10 recognises the mixer but any other type of software it struggles with , as off last week it was running the 1.200 driver it worked with Cubase and traktor 2.11 with time code just fine then overnight nothing wont even output sound possibly windows 10 updates causing the on going hell that is so called “audio interface” x2 seriously thinking of selling it poor from pioneer

Wow, i’m Sorry to hear that. There have been many threads from a few years ago with this same problem and pioneer should have this problem solved by now. There is no excuse to ignore paying customers like this. I think the mixer sounds good, but for the price of well over $2k I expect a company to deliver on product support. I’m honestly starting to worry.. Hey pioneer, if you are seeing this please LISTEN: You need to put a lot more effort into your drivers! You need to dedicate a bigger / better team for the task and get all these problems sorted out ASAP. And you need to keep refining it and supporting it with updates for many years down the line. Otherwise this will be my last pioneer product and it wasn’t my first and would make your brand hard to recommend. When it comes to drivers and more specifically audio interface drivers, take a page out of RME’s book. Those guys do drivers well and still support some of their oldest products and I hope you will too. I hope this reaches you and you will honor your customers’ very reasonable request of making sure your product works as advertised.

Same problem as you guys have with same mixer (DJM-900 NXS2), and disappointed from pioneer that they are not able to give us a simple answer about what they are doing with customers problems.
