I only recommend two units:
- SanDisk Extreme Pro USB3.0 or 3.1
- Corsair Voyager GTX USB3.0
I would like to play with 4 CDJs using only 1 USB Stick.
What read-speed do I need for this?
Thanks!

Additionally, Nexus CDJ’s don’t have USB 3.0 port but it does help if you have a USB3 port on your computer for Relordbox. I use a Sandisk Extreme Pro. Works perfectly.
But why do i need a highspeed USB 3.0 or 3.1 stick when the CDJs only have USB 2.0?
Shouldn´t it also work with a slower stick?
In another post i´ve read that 40MB/s is enough.
I forget the exact math, but I believe that even if you're playing 4 uncompressed tracks from one USB stick, it only uses 8MB/s, where the maximum bandwidth of USB 2.0 is 60MB/s. If you're playing 320kbps MP3s it's less than 2MB/s. That's why CDJs don't need a USB 3.0 port.
However, having a USB 3.0 stick is still recommended, as exporting tracks from Rekordbox will be much faster.
Lets forget about the computer and rekordbox...
Just wanna know if i could play with the USB Stick that i have on my keychain which has USB3.1 and 90MB/s.
This is just my backup stick. But i would like to know if playing with 4 CDJs would be possible.
90MB/s is more than 8MB/s, so yes.
Simply put, I don't recommend using crappy slow drives regardless of the speed of data required by a max of 4x CDJs all reading from the drive at once.
Get the best drive you can afford.
Well said. Cheaper USB drives will break down. I have lost two. I have a Kingston Data Traveller which is good but I use that strictly for the DJS-1000. Tracks just seem to load fast across my CDJ's with the SanDisk Extreme. Not because of theoretical bandwidth but because of better build quality. Meaning actual READ speed is what you look for. Though you wrote to forget about Rekordbox/COmputer, the reality is that you need to consider these things as you don't want to wait all day for a drive to fill up unless you buy some low capacity drive...even with that though I personally want speed. Write secondary but only because you want a fast drive for loading tracks from your computer.
Most importantly, you mentioned that you have a thumb drive on your keychain...use it and find out if you are happy with it. Good luck.
+1 for the "SanDisk Extreme Pro USB3.0 or 3.1"
Had a few issues with Kingston HyperX drives as well as speed issues, but hte SanDisk Extreme Pro works 100% and the export speeds are incredible!
Oh man, don't get me started on HyperX. They are super speedy for large data transfers, but absolutely suck for small files, which rekordbox has to export a lot.
Agree with you Pulse. I just wish there we flashdrives that had the speed of the SanDisk Extreme Pro, but not so "tall" form factor. I am always stressing some drunk person could lean over/fall and break off my flashdrive while in the CDJ's USB port. I know this sounds stupid, but in clubs people can become really stupid when they are intoxicaded! :(
