Tempo Reset on DDJ 10000

I re mapped the key reset key to do a tempo reset instead.

It does work but once i reset the tempo the tempo slider no longer respond. To get the tempo slider to work i need to press the reset key a 2nd time.

Is this normal behavior? I am surprised Pio did not include a tempo reset as default.

Yes, that's perfectly normal, same as on a CDJ.

Thanks for the feedback. Any benefit to the way its currently implemented? I dont see the benefit in having to press the reset twice.

It just seems much more efficient and practical if you once you press reset than soft take over should than kick in and give you tempo control.

Think of it as a "pitch fader lock" that you toggle on/off, as opposed to a one-time "reset to zero from here."
