Check that there isn't a "release" signal sent. Sometimes that can override the actual button you're trying to assign. Use a MIDI monitor application to trace the signals and diagnose.

Lanuchkey mini midi mapping
When i press learn and move a knob or press a pad they are registered and the 4 digit hex numbers are coming. But when I close the midi page and try to use the selected knobs and buttons nothing happens.
Wondering if the novation launchkey mini is compatible or not?
