I recently noticed the sound coming from my master output was about half a second off from my headphones. I thought I lost the ability to beat match until I compared my master cue to the sound actually coming from my headphones. This happened while outputting through rca to an aux on a soundbar. I recently purchased the xdj and haven’t used it much on the other outputs (only once on balanced/xlr ports and didn’t notice but my friend was mixing for the majority of that time). Has anyone else had this issue?
I’m going to test the other outputs soon and check if the issue is occurring across the board.
The problem you're experiencing is thanks to the audio processing happening on your soundbar causing a delay in the signal output. If you use an audio output device without processing, you'll note that the timing is accurate.
