The PLX-500 aren't advertised as scratching turntables, the PLX-1000 are.  All the ads talk about them being a consumer based product that is excellent for home use and to record vinyl directly into rekordbox via the USB port on the PLX-500.

This is what it says

Use the PLX-500 to mix and scratch your vinyl records or combine the turntable with rekordbox dvs, a compatible DJ mixer and the RB-VS1-K Control Vinyl to play and perform with your digital files.

Just saw that and realize that you can mix with them and do some scratching but that they are not as robust as the PLX-1000s.  Have you used them at a gig and had problems?

Why do they have the same internal parts the same as other turntables that's not made for DJ use.. they just say there professional turntables doesn't mean you can't DJ with them

No I just wanted to know how can pioneer say the plx 500 for mixing and scratching when the internals are same as a different turntable made by someone else and they don't advertise there's for DJing it's just professional use
