(DJM 750 MK2) Recording with an action camera

Hi all.

Recently bought this awesome mixer (DJM 750 MK2). It works perfect but i'm having issues recording my sets on video with my action camera. The camera it's not a GoPro, it's a "fake" one, but with (almost) the same features.
I'm conecting the micro usb port of the camera, to the RCA Master2 of the mixer, with an adaptation cable, but the sound does not record with the image and the video is mute. I play vinyl so i want to record without a laptop. What i'm doing wrong?. Hope you understand my poor english. Regards.

Chances are the input on the camera is for a microphone, not a line level input. The camera itself could be shutting down that input as the signal would be too high.

Thank for the response.

So i guess that if the problem is in the signal, the solution may be use balanced outputs?

No, the solution would be to use an audio recording device separate of your video device which is not capable of recording a line-level audio signal.
