Sdj 1000 OS updates?

Hi there ,im new to pioneer gear...im thinking of buying the sdj 1000 but sm concerened as to wether this unit is still being supported or is it now obsolete? Are there any OS updates promised to add new features to the sequencer and more FX per sample?
