Record a mix with Rekordbox, DVS on technics 1210s and a Technics SH EX 1200 DJ Mixer

Do you have an Interface2 box? Otherwise that hardware doesn't support rekordbox DVS.

So here's the problem... using the Interface2 makes it so you can output audio from rekordbox to each of the channels of the mixer, but because it's an external mixer which is not the master audio device, the Interface2 isn't capable of capturing that "mixed" audio and your mixer doesn't have an audio interface with which to send it back into the computer for recording.

You'll have to use a lead from the master outs to an audio device with an input (not your computer - that's typically a MIC input!)... but then arises another problem; rekordbox can't manage two audio interfaces simultaneously. In this case, I'd suggest using another application like Audacity to record your mix.

I should have asked, what's a relatively cheap mixer that will allow recording straight into rekordbox?
