DJM-3000 master fader LED displays not working

I have been using mixers for quite a while, so I am not "new" to the scene. I recently purchased this terrific DJM-3000 and set it up yesterday. It looked like all was working. I turned it on today and  the LED displays on the master fader do not come on at all, even at high volume where they should be bouncing well into the red. I doubt this, but is there a way I could have unknowingly turned off the display? If not, is there a way to fix this?  I can live without the display, but would much rather be able to use it. Thanks for any help you can provide.
