DDJ FLX6 not working with rekordbox

I am connecting the controller on my mac using the original cord with a usb c adapter.  Power turns on, LED's illuminate but unable to control anything from the DDJ-FLX6.  However the master output of sound works and rekordbox does recognize the unit in output of sound.

Using a MacBook Air macOS Bis Sur & Rekordbox 5.

Please help.

The problem is you're using rekordbox 5 -- the FLX6 was introduced after rekordbox 6 was released, so rb5 has no idea what that hardware is. Please update; there's no cost for using the FLX6 with rb6, the DDJ unlocks the software functions for free.
