DJM 250 mk2 connect to active KRK rokit via XLR ?

Hi,

Sorry for the noob question, but I'm having trouble connecting my mixer to active KRK speakers.
I bought an XLR - XLR cable like this:

3P XLR M - 3P XLR F

I plug it into the MASTER 1, and then to the plug in KRK Rokit 6 G2
Unfortunately, I have no answer from the speakers. No sound is playing.

Am I doing something wrong? Is it possible to connect DJM to KRK via XLR - XLR cable?

So long as you have the volume up on the master output and the speaker, yes - that should work.

Is there signal on the meters of the mixer? Do you know if the speakers work with another source, or if the mixer works with other speakers?

I've had these monitors for 7 years, they are still connected to my PC and komplete audio 6 audio interfece and they work great.
I also wanted to connect them via XLR to the mixer (XLR-XLR), but I have zero sound response from KRK.
The mixer is working properly. Is new. There is also master signal on the meter on mixer.

Wait - "still connected"? Do you have the other ports in use on the speaker? Try disconnecting those.

Yes it works!

I pulled out the TRS cable that was plugged into my audio interface and it start to work. Thanks.

It was obvious to me that the speakers cannot play simultaneously. So before that, I checked the KRK with DJM with my PC turned off.
However, there was no sound back then either. It helped to pull the cables out.

My question is - can't both cables be inserted into the KRK at the same time? Every time I want to use the audio interface, do I have to rearrange the cables? It is very troublesome.....

Yep, sorry - thank KRK for not making a speaker which allows you to switch the input and keep everything connected.
