DDJ-800 connection lead

I currently connect my controller to a MacBook using the Pioneer standard USB cable. I'm running short of spare USB sockets on my laptop and wondered if it was possible to obtain an alternative connection lead i.e. one that can connect the DDJ-800 into one of the spare lightning sockets on my MacBook Pro?

Only iOS devices have Lightning sockets; MacBook Pros have Thunderbolt. If it's a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C type connector), then yes, it acts as a USB port so you could use a USB-C to USB-A adapter or cable. If it's an older Thunderbolt 2 port, you would need a Thunderbolt to USB-A adapter.

You can always use a USB hub for the other devices you have connected - we recommend connecting the mixer directly whenever possible.
