I had finally made the jump to a DDJ-1000 for Rekordbox... And with Serato's implementation of stems now I am seriously considering returning my device, canceling my RB subscription, and going back to Serato. Over the years pioneer has seemed to dismiss a layered stem approach... If they can even confirm something is in development that would be a game changer and keep me from abandoning ship. Being able to toggle certain elements like you can in other apps allows such a wide variety for creative mixes.
rekordbox midi mapping, stems, better adjustment for pitch
more control over midi mapping, midi light output, ability to map shift key & possible modifiers so buttons can be made to perform multiple functions
better control with pitch faders they are way oversensitive for double decimal figures
perhaps incorporate stems as virtual dj, traktor pro & serato are now testing this in beta
got to say rekordbox has come a long way over the last few years, great stability, great audio quality,
many thanks and keep up the good work.
Same, I have a ddj-800 and with new stems feature, I'm considering trying out and moving to Serato as I loved the feature in Djay but made the decision to make Rekordbox my primary program. Serato is now making me reconsider and also consider selling my ddj-800.
you can use DJay Pro AI with the DDJ 1000 and it has stem separation with Neural mix
