Serato CV02.5 with DJM850 & Rekordbox DVS

Hi,

My setup is as follows. 2x Technics 1210s connected to a DJM850 mixer, Serato cv02.5 control vinyls and rekordbox DJ trial with DVS.

I'm seeing youtube videos with absolute mode working fine in rekordbox DJ using the serato control vinyls. Examples of people scratching etc. However, I can't seem to get absolute mode working, when I play the control vinyl it does play the loaded track in rekordbox but it isn't aware of where the needle is on the vinyl, so things like scratching aren't possible, it just plays and pauses the track.

Am I doing something wrong here? using rekordbox v 4.2.5. Deck is set to absolute mode.

Have you configured the DVS properly? Can you post screenshots of the appropriate pages from the preferences?

Well, for starters, ABSOLUTE mode doesn't work in an absolute mode with non-rekordbox timecode; use RELATIVE mode instead.

Can you clarify what you mean by "it just plays and pauses the track" -- are you doing that with the timecode or the button on the deck in the software? Does the audio slow down / speed up when you change the pitch of the turntable?
