toraiz sp-16 firmware update problems

Hi just bought a new sp16 , build date November 16 , firmware ver 1.11

Have uploaded ver 1.3 to USB (fat32) , followed instructions , but get stuck at note 3 of update procedures.

Have tried with 2 new usb's.

Little help please and be kind , no technical mumbo jumbo i'm not an IT nerd.

Hello Geoff,

After speaking to the engineers can you please try to do the firmware update on another USB drive. Please make sure the file is in the root folder and that the usb drive is formatted to FAT 32.

Also can you please provide the make and models of the USB drives that did not work for you.

have the same problem, tried with 3 different USB's ( Corsair, Kingstone, Hama) , all formatted to FAT, and all i get is msg: Connect USB storage device into top USb slot .
