Rekordbox DJM S9 Pad Latency

I'm experiencing a delay when I hit a pad to activate a cue point. It's intermittent. Sometimes I have to hit a pad harder than usual to activate the cue point.

I had the issue when I used serato vinyl. Purchased rekordbox vinyl and still experiencing the issue.

I've updated the S9 firmware and am running RB 5.0. I'm on an Early 2011 I7 MBP, running El Capitan with 8Gb RAM and 1TB SSD.

I updated to 5.0.1...still a pad delay!!!

Do you have quantize enabled?

Just checked...Quantize was enabled. Disabled and no longer experiencing the issue. Does this mean I'm unable to use quantize in RB with the S9?

No, but if you change the quantize value to a lower setting it would be "tighter" and you'd experience less delay.
