Sorry, that option is not available on the XDJ-RX2.

Unfortunately not; the hardware only has 3 curve positions, there are no additional settings available.

Would also love to see a curve adjustment in the menu options in some future firmware update if that's a possibility. When moving to the XDJ-RX2 now I only use the volume faders cause the crossfader has noticeably low volume when it gets close to the middle :/ just been using the sharp one or whatever it's called lol

Sorry, it's a hardware switch - not adjustable via firmware or menu options.

This doesn’t make any sense.

Why would pioneer remove the cross fader adjustment knob?

The cross fader is practically unusable for me now - it should be possible to adjust it so that the volume of the currently playing track does not dip when the cross fader is in the middle.

Can you please advise if this will be rectified?

If not, I’m sending this device back to the shop.

Thanks.

@JJ > Removed? It was a switch on the XDJ-RX as well as the XDJ-RX2:

If you don't want it to dip in the middle, use the right position of the switch.

The switch is not what I’m talking about. I’m talking about the adjustment knob.

The rightmost setting is useless because the shape of the cross fade is such that if you’re all the way towards A and shift it even slightly towards B, then B comes in at very high volume. It’s not a gradual fade in.

Before, you could adjust the crossfader knob so that the middle point in the crossfader was both tracks at equal (high) volume. Now it’s both tracks at equal volume, however the volume of each is reduced.

This means that if you are only playing a track on A, shift the crossfader to the Center then the volume on channel A is reduced - even when nothing is playing on Channel B. This is undesirable for many people who mix with the crossfader.

The ideal curve for me would be the constant curve in the OP’s image of crossfader types. The old adjustment knob (which existed in addition to the switch that you posted) and does exist on other Pioneer controllers allows you to set the crossfader this way.

@JJ > Sorry, the XDJ-RX did not feature a curve adjustment knob, so I'm not sure what you're talking about "before."

Other hardware may feature an adjustment knob, but neither of the XDJ-RX units have one, there is only a 3-position switch, and there is no ability to adjust the slope settings beyond that.

how we can reAdjust the last mode X ?

when i'm set the crossfader on the middle , the volume was down of the current track (boot sides)

maybe future update or some pioneer repair shop ?

That's how it works, and it can't be changed, sorry.
