DJS-1000 Pad Mode Bug

Whenever I utilize the Pad Mode buttons such as Mute, Hot Slice or Slice, it activates fine but when I deactivate a Pad Mode, the light of that button remains on and the screen remains on that Pad Mode's parameter screen. Pressing Home usually works to turn it off but not all the time. Sometimes I have to hold Shift and try to deactivate the Pad Mode which works, but sometimes. Most times I'm frustratingly pushing Mute or Slice to no avail to turn the light off.

Like I said, it works fine when activating a Mode, but its turning them off I get this problem and happens more than occassionally. Some days its flawless and works as it should.
