.:: Link: CDJ-900 to CDJ-900 - direct conection (no switch or wireless router)

I have a couple of CDJ-900's and I use it linked through a switch.
CDJ900 --cable-- switch --cable-- CDJ900.
My question is whether they work directly linked to each other, without the need for a switch or router?
If so, should this cable be parallel or crossover? Has anyone ever taken this test? I searched the manual but I did not find it possible to link directly to one another (CDJ900 - cable - CDJ900) I was afraid to connect the two and burn, give some problem, I thought better ask before doing.
Has anyone ever used it like that? Do you know if it's parallel or cross cable?
Thank you!

From my knowledge there is no risk to damage the CDJs by connecting them directly with a network cable. Most of the modern devices don't need a cross cable anymore. Therefore I would suggest to simply try it out if it works.

Did you checked the manual for the CDJ-900? It should be specific to this....

What are you trying to achieve?
Do you want to share one USB/SD over both decks?

If so, you can connect them directly via a LAN cable.

I used to do this when I had my CDJ900's - just select LINK on both CDJs.

The references I found in the manual were to connect the entire kit (CDJ | Mixer | CDJ | PC | Notebook) all using switch for communication. I did not find any image or article linking CDJ to CDJ directly.
My mixer even has no Ethernet connection (DJM-750K).
I would like to link them to use only a Pendrive, I was afraid to call direct because here in Brazil it is a very, very expensive device! Even though it has been released for so long and being out of line. I just bought them with a lot of effort.
Better to ask before you risk it, right? LOL

I'll take the test later for a while. Then I post the results.

Just use an ethernet / network cable between the decks. Select USB on one deck and LINK on the other.
