Correct - rekordbox 5 will have this feature, but might I also recommend you consider an external hard drive as the source of your music and database? That way you could take your entire collection with you wherever you go.
Hi,
I've made my playlists with Rekordbox for quite a while now, using a 32Gb SD-card for when I'm playing in clubs. Works like a charm and very happy that all my loops and hotcue are on this SD-card.
I just got myself a Pioneer DJ DDJ-RB to play around with at home, but I can't access my playlists or the music on the SD-card.
I can see and play everything when I use Rekordbox in the EXPORT mode, the playlists are then to be found in the 'device' section. But when I switch to preformance, I can't access the 'device' anymore. This is obviously very anoying and makes the DDJ-RB worthless to me.
Do I really need to redo all my tracks on the local computer? This can't be the case right?

Using Rekordbox-USB-Sticks in DJ mode can be used in the next Rekordbox Version 5.
Try the Beta if you want to
It works in Beta.
Thanks!
