To clarify it was a 30+ jump tempo wise.

Temp button randomly jumped to wide
Hello,
Mixing to track, as one end the bpm of the other shot up to 168 and the wide temp range was activated.
Any ideas how this could happens?

Did the wide led lit up?, did it reset or did you need to adjust manually?
Is it a new player or in a club / rental?
Why i ask is when ive had the same problems, with buttons, levers jogwheels. It tends to lead to gunk, fat smoke, liquids.
People do not take care of the gear and many expect them to work 100% all the time.
As long as its electronics and its not certified to resist water, liquids and dust. You are going to have to upkeep the equipment. Simple as that.
Now it can be some other issue, especially if its a brand new product. Then it need service if it repeat the issue!
