firmware update and versions

I have been trying to update my cdj 900's for two weeks now, i followed every instruction given to update to 4.31, the download or something isnt working. I used the same method to update to 1.31 and it updated flawlessly. please help with this, I spent alot of money on these. I even had a FAT and a FAT32 and neither drive worked.

Are you mixing up Firmwares? 4.31 is for the CDJ-900 (latest available is 4.32). Firmward 1.31 is for the CDJ-900NXS.

Are you trying to Flash the CDJ-900 Firmware on the CDJ-900NXS?

If yes - you can't do it.

So i watched a youtube video and it said i needed 4.32 or higher for rekordboz, i currently upgraded to 1.31, if this is latest version why is rekordbox nor traktor working? Do u have links? I would like to get one of the software's working. I also use the 900 nxs mixer.

I assume as you got Version 1.31 installed you own the CDJ-900NXS. Therefore you got the latest available Firmware Version from Oct. 2017. No Need to update. If you got trouble with rekordbox, it must be something else.

Please keep in mind that the CDJ-900 and the CDJ-900NXS are 2 different products.
