this can happen if the sample begins or ends not at zero amplitude
if you open the sample in audacity or other audio editor add a tiny fade in or fade out over the first (or last) few milliseconds

Static Clip on Sample Loop
Any idea why I get static clip on the start and re-loop of every loop in the Sampler?
