are you using CloudSync with Dropbox?
I've fixed similar problems for other artists and the root of the issue was always CloudSync.
I have been updating the metadata on my entire library, as well as cleaning up my file management (deleting unused folders, consolidating folders, etc).
When I opened up Rekordbox after doing some of this (I have more to work on still) it listed many of my tracks as missing. When I asked it to display missing files and run auto-relocate, it couldn't find any of them. Yet they do still exist, albeit some with updated tags (e.g. genre), some cleaned up titles and such, as well as some having moved folders.
No matter, surely I can simply manually relocate them myself? Apparently not, as when I opted to manually relocate and find the exact folder the track is in (and seeing said track with my own eyes) it appeared at greyed out.
What gives?
Rekordbox 6 (latest version) M1 Mac Ventura.

"are you using CloudSync with Dropbox?"
Not at all
mmm that's strange. Usually it's a problem with ownership of the file in the RB database (and that's not something that can be fixed at user level).
Does export to USB (for the tracks RB can locate) still work?
