Can any Macbook run stems seprartion?

Its not clear at the requirement page whether we need also 16GB or ram if we are using Macbook. It doesn't say more than Apple M1, M1 Pro, M1 Max, M2 chip and the OS compatabilty.

Any idea?

The problem is my Rekordbox crashed on me twice while on gigs for unknown fatal error while I was using 8Gb of ram on Dell xps laptop, I opened a ticket with Rekordbox to analyze the dump file for these crashes and to let me know the root cause, but all they did was look at the system info file to tell me that my laptop doesn’t meet the minimum requirements so any unexpected error may occur, thus I have to turn off stems function or upgrade to 16gb.

Also, at the time Rekordbox introduced the stems function the requirement was still 8Gb,  that is the same time when I got my new DDJ-FLX10 controller specifically for this feature, after that the requirement was quietly updated to 16Gb.

Other djs told me they had no issue running stems on Macbook M1 with 8GB however now my 8GB Dell XPS gives now error message on some tracks  at the bottom bar "The track sepration function is not available because there is not enough memeory "

You can't compare the use of Mac with Windows. MacOS is more efficient using RAM in the way it allows programs and the OS to use it. (AKA more strict and aggressive in what can use RAM and for how long).
