lol after this post they changed the price to 39 euros for the cable. I still don't buy it, cause i think it should be covered by warranty.

hdj 2000 warranty
Hey to all, i use about 8 months the hdj 2000 headphones. I am very satisfied with it. Yesterday the headphones just stoped working, without any reason. The result is that the cable is not working. I tryed a different cable from a friend of me with the same headphones, and they work fine. Conclusion: cable problem. So i called the dealer, where i buy my hdj's and he told me that the cable is not covered by the 1 year waranty... Is that true?? I did not use the cable as a lasso or something, i just plug it in to the mixer (pioneer mixer everytime) and do my work.. The cable is not damaged by me or anyone else. Also there is no visible damage on that cable.. Anyway, i called the pioneer greece (intersys) and they told me if it;s the cable, the it cost's about 130 euro... Yes you hear right: 130EURO. I buy the headphones 250 euro and more than the half of that cost's the cable.... Please tell me what to do. Is the cable covered by waranty or not..?

Hey again. I got finally my cable replaced for free. I would like to thank you Gavin cause i think without your help, i would never had that service. The reason they changed my defect cable was (exact words): "We could not prove that you damaged the cable inside of it". I mean... Wow am i in CSI Miami or somethink? I feelt like a criminal... Whatever, exept this, i think Gavin that Pioneer should know the price of that cable in greece from official pioneer partner is 115 euros, finally. The don't changed the price as i earlier wrote to my post, they make twice mistake about the 130 and the 29. I told them that in other country's that cable (HDJ-CA01) cost's about 30 dollar, and in europe, like netherland it cost's 28 euro's and the answer was: I don't know if it is the same...

hey tasos check out what happened to me...an i got no solution..i left my headphones as they are... everything that dont work or get damaget at pioneer stuff cost at least 130 euros...guys mercy us!!!

Did you got any warranty? If your headphones was damaged and they may needed a speaker-change i could understand that cost. But if you pay for 1 cable 130 euros, thats crazy and not right.

@ tasos > my warranty expired two weeks before the problem...but i want to say that the all thing is a wire/cable change under the pioneer logo and for that according to pioneer i have to change the whole part and pay over 150 euros...man thats not right!!! how much would u cost a wire change?!?!?

Same thing happend to a friend of me, but he changed himself.. It;s a shame cause pioneer cannot control some "partners" in some country's like greece. No wonder we will bankrupt..
