[SOLVED] HDJ 2000 Serial Number Location

I've recently bought a pair of HDJ 2000's online. I can confirm that they are real from their 'finish' and 'sound quality'. However the problem is that I haven't been able to find the serial number either on the box or the headphones.

I bought them from [edit] based in US. I've heard that some dealers deliberately remove the serial numbers from pioneer products so that their origin cannot be tracked.

Any advice on this or where exactly is the serial number location?

@Stefan > I don't believe there is a serial on the headphones. And if there is a serial on the box, I think its by the barcode. Is there a certain issue you have with the 'cans?

Thanks I've got the serial number there.

And no I don't have any issues with them atm. Actually, these things are awesome, the've redefined music for me.

Just one more thing plz:

I got them here in New Zealand from US. So in next 12 months, if I ever get into any issues, should I contact local PIONEER or the company where I bought them from ? Coz I heard that if you buy them from US, the warranty is only applicable in the US.

You'll need to contact the store in which you purchased them to arrange a return should anything happen (I doubt it will)!

The warranty is only valid in the region in which they are purchased.
