What does adding a key do via RB?

I added the key column and on a specific track was able to add in the key, am I right in thinking this only adds it to the RB db? It does not write it to the ID tage right?

Would be a nice feature if it did!

If I want to manually add a key to an ID tag, say via Mp3tag software, which tag do I add it too so RB recognises it and loads it, I cannot find a KEY field, added one as cusomt but RB did not pull it in.

In Mp3Tag you need to add a custom column and get it to use the %initialkey% value, after that you only need to do an "update" in RB to show the info

That worked thanks! Also Editing in RB appears to edit the files for you too!
