I read somewhere on the forums ages ago that this request was passed on, just wondering if we are likely to see it?
I've loved moving back to CDJ's from traktor and rekordbox has helped a lot but the only thing I really do miss is identifying tracks from the album artwork (I have the CDJ850's) plus I don't have as much time to get to know all my tracks anymore (especially by name) and my collection has obviously has grow a fair bit too although I do try to cut it down every now and then. So smart playlists would help a lot, especially matching keys & compatible keys. I still haven't found the best workflow for track selection and I've always tried to stay away from pre-picked sets. (and yes I know I could bridge from itunes but I have all my tracks in a separate folder and don't fancy re-analysis/gridding/cueing all my tracks again)
.... well is anyone else interested in this feature?
I heavily rely on smart playlists but find iTunes so much better at music management than Rekordbox so I stick to that application. If, sometime in the future, this essential feature is introduced to Rekordbox I might re-concider...
+1 Smart Playlists would be extremely useful, especially if they work as well as iTunes.
