Drum & Bass BPM Issues (80BPM rather than 160BPM)

I've got over 100 Drum & Bass tunes in my Playlist folder all reading approx 80 BPM when they should be 160 BPM.

Is there a way of 'group doubling' the BPM in one go rather than individually increasing them using the x2 button?

One of the easiest things you can do is to sort by the genre, pick the tracks which are in the wrong BPM range, then change the analysis range in the preferences, and re-analyse the tracks:

We've already asked the engineers to include more intelligent matching for 1/2x and 2x BPMs in a future update.

How many times have I cursed this?  I've a truckload of D&B & Jungle, and I always have this issue on import, one.at.a.freakin'.time.

There is the mix now and then where I'm dealing with half-step or hip-hop washed with jungle or tech-step and I'm either setting a track at 1/2x or 2x, but that's an exception rather than the rule, and I'd rather the software get it right at first, or at least be smart enough to know that D&B or Gabber is really clipping along close to 200.

I never had an issue in the earlier editions of rekordbox. It always seemed to pick um at 160bpm. I'm sure it could be a quick fix if they group select and edit in one go...hopefully!

Have you changed the way you are analysing the tracks?  I mean are you using now using Normal when it was Dynamic before?  or visa-versa

OK out of interest just try a few songs with Dynamic and see if it makes any difference

I have the same issue with hardcore over 180 BPM, RB half's the tempo.

I've mentioned it a few times on here and haven't had any kind of reponse
