Hi,
You should backup your original collection with File > Library > Backup.
Then restore the zip file on your new system with File > Library > Restore.
The zip file contains everything needed except your music files.
Hey,
i recently reinstalled Windows 7 and placed my rekordbox database folder in 'AppData\Roaming\Pioneer' - with my music files on the same place it loads everything except the beatgrid.

Is there anything I can do except reanalyzing a every title?

Hey,
thanks for the respond.
I used the Backup feature which created a 3mb *.edb file, but the beatgrid is still missing.
Backup in zip format appeared in 2.2.1.
edb file don't contains the beat grids unlike zip file.
Oh, so there might be a few hours of work heading me?
Where's the Beatgrid stored at? I got a folder 'USBANLZ' at my music files and also at 'AppData...\rekordbox'.
Yes, they are in those *.DAT/*.EXT files.
The path in Preferences > Track Analysis > "PIONEER" Folder must exactly match the one you set in your previous install.
Have you read this thread ? http://forums.pioneerdj.com/entries/20658308-Migrating-Your-Rekordbox-Database
Ah ok.
I changed my Windows 7 Username, i think that might be the problem.
I'll create a new user, try to get rekordbox running, export with 2.2.1 and load it into my new Account, that shall work I think.
Thanks for helping :)
You're welcome,
let me know if it works for you.
I recently used it to migrate from my old Mac to my new PC and it worked flawless.
Hey,
in the AppData directory is an xml file located named 'rekordbox.settings' - I needed to change the username in the value name="pioneerDirectory", everything works fine now I think.
Have a nice day
