1) Enable Auto Cue on the deck within the rekordbox dj preferences.
2) Disable Continuous Playback in the preferences.

Are you talking about when loaded within the software to the software player or via rekordbox to hardware? If within the software, which player mode are you in? How are you loading the track - by drag-and-drop, double-click or by keyboard shortcut?
Software and XDJ-RX. All my tracks have a cue on the first downbeat, however, certain songs when dragged into a Rekordbox deck or loaded into deck A or B on my XDJ-RX will start playing automatically.
If a track was playing when you load another one, the new one will also play. If it was stopped, the new one will cue as normal and not play.
I'm experiencing the same issue with my DDJ-SX2. As you seem to explained it "Pulse" that looks to be a normal way for the software to behave but that is not what I will like to happen. Is there a way to stop that sort of thing from happening?
The rekordbox team will be making a change to that operation in a future update, but the reason it happens is because the deck wasn't "stopped" when it reached the end of the song. The software sees it as "not playing" and allows you to load a track (which makes sense if you have the load-lock enabled), but technically the deck state is still in "play" mode so as soon as that new track is loaded, it starts playing.
Let me get this straight if a song finishes and the wave is not moving anymore and you load a song onto that deck it will start playing cuz i never pushed pause? Is there a way around this it should recognize that its a stopped deck cuz the wave is not moving
It makes sense that the track would keep playing when thinking of a vinyl deck but it seems an obvious oversight when talking about audio files loaded into a virtual deck, why would anyone need it to continue playing when the song has finished?
Seems like it needs a simple setting in preferences to choose whether deck stops when song finished.
@matt > Two possible settings; AUTO CUE (to stop playback on the deck when a track is loaded) and CONTINUOUS PLAY (to load the next track after the first has finished).
You can have any combination thereof.
So how can I load a track on the deck which is not playing by double clicking the Song? Nothing happens when I double-click a Song. Where can I change that?
@Kristoffer > If you're in PERFORMANCE mode, rekordbox doesn't know which deck you want to load to, so double-click is not a function to load a track to a deck (this only works in EXPORT mode in single-deck layout).
