CDJ 900 jog wheel (In Vinyl Mode)
My cdj's are still under manufacturers warranty but I didn't notice the error till recently. When I'm adjusting to beat match in vinyl mode sometimes the cdj thinks my hand is on top of the platter. It doesn't happen always but it happens enough to be annoying and sometimes makes my look bad in live sets. I think the problem is the springs need to get replaces or flexed to fix the issue. Will my warranty cover it? It has been under light use and always travels in the original box so I think the issue has always been there but I never noticed.

I had this same problem. Send them back to where you got them from ASAP. Mine came back working like a treat. Its to do with the springs under the platter.

@IceCream > It could simply be the jog sensor > If you're still under warranty, I would suggest you have the unit serviced. Use the technical support links at the right to get assistance in finding an authorized shop near you.

That brings up a question. What if they aren't under warrantly anymore would you still be able to get them fixed somewhere?

Any official Pioneer service centre. You'll have to pay of course.
