This error is typically to do with reading the USB drive; please format the drive again to FAT32, and re-export the contents.

Hello,
i have the same problem that happens to me for a longer time period. First (04/2011-07-2011) came this error every gig. Then i tried to change USB stick, change ethernet cable. It helped a little, now it comes one time pro 2-3giggs. This error comes MOSTLY (cca 90%) on a linked player. The song stops to play in a middle and the error apears. After the reload the song with pushing the button it plays normally again. Im using PRETEC I-DISK REX 100 16GB. I have firmware 4.04, will it update in next days. But can somebody tell me the solution for this problem? Can the 4.05 FW fix it ? Im ataching photos with this error....
@George > Sorry your post was missed, I hope you were able to find the solution in another thread. If not, please read below.
@Lubomir > The E-8302 error has different meanings depending on what source you are using to play tracks from. Since you're using a USB device, I'm assuming they are Rekordbox analyzed files?
This error usually is resulted from a missing file, meaning the player cannot locate the file in the specified directory. However, since you mentioned you are able to to wait and reselect the song in a moment and it will load properly, it leads me to believe there is something going on with your exported database on the flash drive. There might be a small communication error from the connection of the 2 players, but it is most likely something to do with your database, exported files, or possibly even the drive.
If you continue to have the error, the best solution I've seen others have is to double check your database in Rekordbox, then re-export your tracks from Rekordbox onto the drive again. Provided you deleted and reformatted the entire drive prior to re-exporting. :)
I hope that helps, but I apologize for not being able to give an exact solution.
Thanks a lot for your help, i will post later if i fixed it or not.
were you able to ever fix this? This is happening to me on my 128 GB PNY thumbdrive.
i still have this problem, but it happens not as often as before...
