Which AAC format?

Having read other users findings regarding the better stability of aac files i thought i might encode some tracks in this format.

I have always used "Easy CD-DA Extractor" to rip/encode, however i am presented with the following options:-

.3g2 (aac)  .3g (aac)  .aac  .m4a  .4mb  .mp4

to further complicate matters most of these also have a "plus" option.

Which should I choose??

Further to my earlier question above:-

ALL of my collection is in .mp3 format (most @320) -

If i convert any of these .mp3's to .aac files am i degrading their quality? (assuming i convert to aac 320)...

Hi Oakstream and thanks for your response.

Sorry to sound picky but would you know if that is the best option since i don't know the differences betwen them??

All I can say is that I never had any problems with AAC files bought from iTunes with my CDJ-2000's. I don't use Easy CD-DA Extractor so I can't tell what's the best option.

I converted some in iTunes use AAC, 320, stereo, 44k... This does not make the player error free though, the cue bug where "When you hit cue the track still players for 2 seconds before going back to the cue point" Still exists
