@Rich > Every location and setup is unique and some are more susceptible to resonant frequencies than others, and as such, would put the PLX at risk of being affected adversely. If you are having problems at your setup, please contact Pioneer technical support in your region and they can help you isolate the cause or suggest alternative configurations to avoid the resonance.

@KATNIP > This issue is known by engineers however the resonance is not necessarily a problem when the turntable is used at normal operating levels in most environments.

thanks for the reply Pulse, but i have to disagree that the resonance is actually a major issue regardless the turntable is used in normal or heavy use. we had the turntable at a cushioned dj booth in night club  and every time we raise the volume to no more then  3 quarters on a Djm 900 nxs  we get this massive low resonant sound. we made sure everything was properly grounded. so  we had to swap the Plx with techinics 1200 . unfortunately we had to return both Plx1000 back to the store. i have a reputation of demonstrating high end dj gears and pioneer dj is my number 1 brand.as much as i would like to recommend the Plx1000 to other night clubs I'm gonna have to wait until this issue is fixed.  :D

I am not trying to defend anyone but is not plx 1000 getting interference from the waves of the Notebook in that video?

Hi Denis. I am actually the guy who made that video (James Field - The Bright Pixel), and I can confirm that the laptop you can see in the video was not powered up. What I can say is that, as stated by Pulse, in many environments the PLX will perform just fine. It's only in a club or festival situation with very high SPL in the booth that it becomes a problem. And the whole point of my video was to test the PLX for the rigors of life in a club booth.
