Any update on the xdj aero?

there was a firmware update in the middle of november to 1.11

it addressed wireless issues by the look of it

Yeah I know I got that firmware. I was talking about maybe adding 4 hot cue and maybe other Kool things too. I know that they won't add wave form cuz u really can't (I think). Hope they add on new Kool features one day

nah, but it seems a lot of people are hanging out for an update like that.

I think that a waveform display from the likes of the CDJ 1000 and CDJ 850 MIGHT be possible at the XDJ display, replacing where it shows the 4 bars. It would be much more useful than that counter...

I am waiting how rekordbox mobile will improve into the next versions before getting a XDJ.

The hot cues feature was promised by Pioneer at a future firmware update, but nothing until now.

As I already said in other topics, the XDJ Aero have a BIG potential but is clearly limited into it's own software (firmware and rekordbox) right now.

waveform on the screen will be rubbish, i'd rather have the option of seeing it via the mobile app (personal preference)... when did they promise hot cues. the xdj aero would be awesome if it supports hot cues

So true Lloyd, me too! But this will be very hard for us to see soon.

The rekordbox mobile is into a very embrionary status right now... There's still so many stuff to work in there...

yeah, it's early days... too many people are worried about the price though, and more people seem to be buying the ddj-sx.

I sometimes wonder if we might have boarded a sinking ship.

fingers crossed that pioneer spend the time to develop this product further in the near future, because I love my XDJ :)

I know this unit is not getting much play. I even emailed a company about a flight case for it,and they told me they not making it cause its not a high demand on it. I hope pioneer won't forget about this unit. I had mines about 4 months now and I have no big issue with it. All am asking for is some Kool new feature and a ipad version of rekordbox if its possible

There's no way I would have opted for the sx as I don't want to use a laptop.

I love the aero and the only issue I have is the fact it dropped in price by about £70 a couple of months after i bought it!

yeah we copped a price reduction here in australia, shortly after I bought it... doesn't matter though
