aero xdj playback issue

Hi was out doing the boxing day bash last nite and the aero worked ok to begin with track were loading from laptop and usb no problem, however half way through song track would jump/skip then hour into gig track would load but would not play when hitting the play button, any ideas what would have caused this starting to panic as gig tonight and wedding tomorrow nite
