I have the following issue with XDJ Aero (on Mac OS, Snow Leopard and also Mavericks). When I open several applications which are using audio output (e.g. itunes and logic, or itunes and Flash, or Recordbox and Logic, or any other combination), the audio output is going in an ugly feedback loop, as soon as I play audio in one application (only in one !). It sounds as if the output of application 1 is also sent again as input to app 2 or whatever.
With my previous Echo AudioFire 2 I did not have this issue.
It's quite annoying. Anyone else also have this problem or a solution ?
Apart from that, I am very satisfied with the Aero. It replaced 4 separate devices (audio interface, DJ mixer, 2 CDJ's) and makes my setup very comfortable.

Christian have you checked your settings in your system prefences or control panel?
I know you are not using Windows but this wounds like the default input is glitching out as you mention. I would check your sys pref and see if you can make any changes to the default devices.
Yep, sounds to me like you simply need to visit the audio configuration within each application to see what the routing is for each software.
