[TICKETED] XDJ R1 (MIXER) firmware 1.09 problem

the mixer have a problem, in all firmwares.....

we wait a solution for this problem 8 months now, and dont have any by now.

Pioneer deceived us and many others ... 8 months, we believed that this firmware, and it turned out that this equipment is not suitable for work ... I have suffered through this equipment financial losses and moral ... I spent so much money and I could buy a used cdj 100 which worked a lot better than the new ... Shame for the company pioneer ...

was it like this, this was my issue, i been waiting 6 weeks, and all they did was fix my play buttons, i got it back 5 weeks after i took it itn the first 2 hours of playing on it, this is what it did in the video clip

so this is the problem and there are many other :((((((

I'm thinking that maybe the processor in the unit doesn't get any ventilation, and if its on constantly sooner or later the processor will over heat because my old pc used to freeze the same way, screen goes green same high pitched noise and. I have to reset the thing to make it work again, whatever happens to the pc when it does that is happening to xdj r1 I think

if you're right about xdj processor.....we have a huge problem!!!

CDJ 350, there is no ventilation holes and works great. A xDj R1 usually has a problem with something. The manual is written in what ambient temperatures can work. If the ambient temperature is good, why it hangs? What do I care, it is overheating? Manufacturer provides stable operation in an enclosure such as a designed ...

Why has not taken a firm Pioneer in this thread? It seems to me that they know that they produced equipment with defects and only deceive us these firmware versions ...

Search For cDJ2000: Error code E-8302, playlist loading time and master tempo on Pioneer forums, I don't know bout u but I get that error using a usb stick not even using. Cds, Look at the comment IN REGARD TO ERROR CODE E-8302. The d) reason they say. U get it when playing unusually long sets especially when using LINK to connect two or more units...... Ie so what did they use to link. Xdj cd1 to xdj cd2 , I have the latest firmware and I still get that error, which means since 2011 they still haven't fixed that issue properly and isn't that before they shoved it in the R1., more and omore things are also pointing to incompatability issues inside the machine that's what I think

I've got the XDJ-R1 last friday , updated it to version 1,09 , it works  after i deleted my old Recordbox HDD cause he couldn't read the HDD

made that and it works for about 1,5 hr ,than it freezed while searching a track in another playlist ??

I'd to turn off the controller and started it again ,!!

I've 2000 tracks in several playlists and all analyzed by recordbox , so whats the problem ??

and i missed the playlist funktion to tag a playlist for played traxx

i have also the cue problem.

in some mp3s, the cue not working right.

i press the cue button to the part of track i want,

but the cue select other part of track.

I play only with USB and CD. I do not have time to rekordbox.

Speech was that this mixer crashes .... I do not use remotebox or any Apple devices ... XDj R1 hangs itself ... Forced original CD is not recorded ... I do the same thing on the CDJ 350 and nothing happens, and xDj R1 hangs itself .. So finally explain Pulse what's really going on and not go off to Apple or remotebox!!!!!!!! Speak the truth does not lie so many users!!!

yet the curiosity .. Well cdj 350 consumes 16 watts power, and DJM 350 mixer 17 watt. What gives us 16 watts + 16 watts + 17 watts = 49 watts ... A xDj R1 uses 30 watts of electricity. Admit that he in xDj r1 you used a weak power supply! And do not lie to people, with a software fault ...

　・Which did you operate immediately before freeze or crash? XDJ-R1 or iDevice? I went thru a playlist with the XDJ rotary selector, Stopped on a track hit the rotary selector, and hit it again to load the track to the deck (right deck) and it freezed.

　　- Are the tracks analyzed by Rekordbox or not? - Yes

　　- What model of USB device did you use? - Sandisk cruzer fit 32GB.

　　- When you exported the tracks in your computer to a USB device, did you use an Apple product or other products than Apple? - No

　　　→ If you used an Apple product, what is the version of the device (Mac, iPad, etc.) and OS version? 

-Did the freeze and crash occur with a specific USB device? - No

we are still waiting & suffering by firmware 1.09 but there are no update or response from PIONEER . . . :( :( :(

for the CUE problem i resolve with disable the quantize function... now the cue is ok! try....  PS: escuse my bad english

After 2 months suffering with my XDJ -r1, I've decided to turn back to my cdj's

My last set with the controller vs remote box was horrible after 3 tracks remote box decided to put tracks into the player which I didn't surged out of my playlist ??

I unlocked remote box and played without it , I wasn't better , sound problems with bleeps & other strange noises are hearable in my sets , that's not what I want !!

I'll sell it as a frustrated pioneer user, will buy no pio controller in the future anymore , so much money for a not working crash unit !!!!!!!!

No!!!Because the Pioneer is the fucking joke!!!I have the XDJ R1 one year and still freezes at the party!!! Never buy XDJ R1!!! Better buy CDJ 350!!!!

pioneer hi dear ... I apologize for my English, I'm an Italian DJ. Unfortunately, as I see it is common to so many of us the problem that XDJ r1 crashes during a set. is a horrible thing!! it feels completely uncomfortable and highly embarrassed! I only use cd and usb! I also did the update 1:09 x three evenings in a row but I was stuck on the console and I had to turn off and on. Please solve this serious problem because two friends have also recovered the same problem after taking her into care!!

Just played a set on my R-1 in my bedroom for an hour with remotebox loading songs from my Ipod Touch, however, when I changed my player from CD mode to Vinyl mode, after a couple of songs it stuttered and the left deck then froze with about a minute of the song left,

I am running Version 1.09 , and a Seagate 500gb, 3.0 hard drive and approx 1500 analysed  Rekordbox song's on it,

I always run my player in Vinyl Mode and it's been nothing but trouble, will try and run it in CD Mode to see if it behaves then,

Really unhappy with it at the moment, Pioneer should bring out a Basic Remotebox program, with a Scroll and load function, personally I don't need all those features on it, although a live already played list like Rekordbox ,would be nice :-)
