XDJ-R1 blank screen

Ok, my r1 is about a month old and yesterday both my screens went black, permanently. All the lights still work, you can still play cd's and aux channels, the scratch wheels still work.  It does not play usb anymore.

 I've tried unplugging and restarting with no joy.  I have not updated firmware and was not attempting too when the issue arose.   My r1 has been hardly used and hasn't moved off the coffee table.
