Waiting on the XDJ-RX

for what I know, is just the demand higher than the offer, to get mine from the first batch I had to pay it in full in advance, others are waiting too for the new shipments.. (Italy)

I pre-ordered with a dj store that was suppose to be one of the biggest pioneer sellers in the UK.... i payed a higher pre-order amount on the condition if i didn't get a unit first batch i could have a refund to go else where to find one...

I kept ringing and ringing to be told we don't know when release is.. we don't know amounts etc... then one day was told yes we had a shipment in that more of just 2 units!!! The manager was going nuts in the background lol

So i cancelled the pre-order and searech around to find DV247 had 14 in stock just sat in their warehouse! Got one sent out next day! haha!

Seems demand is high but stock levels being shipped out are low.... so keep having a look around and ask the lesser known places as it seems they got more then some of the bigger stores

Personally only with a few mp3s which upon later investigation were currupt or had errors in themselves so this was not a unit fault...

I have noticed the beatgrid once or twice look as if slowing down/jittering for a few seconds again this could be due to the mp3s playing not being 100% thus the system struggling to read them correctly etc.

Overall I love the system!

@Lsme > The shipping is happening as fast as Pioneer can produce them. Your best bet is to contact your retailer and ask them about availability.

Problem is pulse, rather then be honest they tell us that Pioneer don't tell them anything or claim Pioneer can't confirm shipping/unit amounts and when.

This is true - Pioneer can't confirm any shipments, but if the retailer knows a shipment is being sent and has X units, they could certainly pre-sell those or contact those who have pre-ordered to inform them. Sorry, I can't help beyond that.

I can conform this. We are an installer and rental house. Pioneer is one of our biggest brands. We have to pre-order Pioneer products in advance to ensure that we have sufficient availability for installations in bars, clubs and entertainment venues. Pioneer do give us as much information as they can, but sometimes, it's just about ensuring as a supplier, we have a sufficient stock of Pioneer products.

Same thing here i cant find a single place that has one here in the united states i have been calling and searching online for over a month now and nothing. My local guitar center "pre-ordered" one for me then calls me yesterday saying "pioneer's shipping department is on strike and they have absolutely no clue when my controller will ship"... Pioneer what is the deal here? how can no one get  this unit????!!!

In north america here, and I've had my unit on preorder since preorder opened (I'm 2nd of their first, or 3rd behind their demo unit depending on how you look at it) and just got the 'will same day turn around when we receive our first shipment estimated to be 4/15'.  Considering I don't see any of these here from any dealer, it seems shipping is hung up...

Pioneer's shipping department is NOT on strike. Units will be shipped as they're available. Sorry I don't have any more information than that at this time!
