in all DJM product, in the effect section, Hold Pressing BPM and turning time change the BPM Value.
In the XDJ-RX with the same operation change only the time of the effect, not BPM.
Can you fix it in the next firmware update?

@Marco > I would have to disagree with the usefulness of that mode as you would want to change the BPM of the track on the tempo control itself, not the BPM of the effect. The timing of the effect is more important, and on a DJM, the audio sources are not "onboard."
Can you explain why you feel this is necessary?
in case of file not analyzed or not analyzed correctly from rekordbox there's no possibility to change BPM of the effect, it was possible on all pioneer DJ Mixers with effects.
Personally if i need to change BPM, i prefere to set BPM through Hold Pressing BPM and turning time knob rather than Tapping TAP Button that may not be accurate.
Alternately i have to learn all the timing of all BPM ... it's impossibile...
I think it is'nt a big upgrade but it could be a big help for NON rekordbox users.
The Manual adjust of BPM was possible also on EFX 500/1000, RMX 500/1000 ...
And the EFX and RMX also weren't audio sources as the RX is.
I understand the desire to change it if the audio was from a non-rekordbox source, but that doesn't change the fact that the RX will read the BPM of the audio file and then the effects will automatically be on-time when the BPM of the effect is the same as the audio source.
Me and some others dj use djtools Files without Song or beat, in this case it is impossibile to use for example trasform effect in time...

I've see that the Spiral effect haven't the 3/4 Timing, could be possible to add in next update?

Did this ever amount to anything? I would like to use the xdj-rx in midi mode using the xdj-rx mixer. The effects BPM does not detect the audio signal from the dj software so the only way to change the effect bpm is by the tap function.
It would be great if you could dial in the desired BPM for the effects as suggested above as the tap function is not very accurate.
It's not intended to work that way.
