Re-Importing Playlists / Music Collection from USB Stick

I recently had my laptop stolen, now I'd like to reimport the content on my USB stick to my new laptop. Of course i want to keep all the playlists, but copy all the files to my laptop so I can manage my playlists there and also add new tracks etc. How do i do that? When I choose 'export playlist' (from USB to laptop) it only exports the playlist but not the actual music files.

Sorry, but there is no way to re-import the playlists from an export device; you would have to manually rebuild them from the information stored therein. Our recommendation is to always keep a backup copy of your data, not just rekordbox content, but music and everything, in event of theft, fire, hard drive failure, etc.
