XDJ RX - color coded cue points, pointless... :/

Hi Pulse,

Color coded cue points are great, but...

After setting cue points for my entire library and spending a lot of time color coding them I realise that, in the XDJ RX display, when the play position marker goes through a cue point, the next one turns white!!!!

That makes the color code system pointless !!!!!

I think the play position marker is big enough (and yellow!) so its not necessary to change the next cue point color just to let us know which one is the next one.

If you still think that is necessary to advise the user which one is the next one, a simple solution could be to make it a little big (the next cue point) but remaining the color it has.

I Hope it can be a simple thing to solve.

PS: do you remember if engineers have in mind the TIME MODE to be independent for each deck??? that would be great...

Not pointless, see the new CDJ-2000NXS2 as an example. It's possible we'll see trickle-down from some of those features into lower models.

Ok Pulse. If your telling me that is going to be fixed, its great.

But so far, as a xdj rx user, the color-coded system is useless, as the most important thing (at least for me), is to know what kind of cue point comes next.

Its simple, just don't change the color of the next cue point! Make it blink or something if you want, but do not change the color, please!

And again, please, remind the engineers to implement independent time mode for each deck if possible (I'm sure it is...)

i agree with elgatovacomomoto. it is really annoying that have to remember the color of the cue point coming next. I think it's a kind of mistake the way it is implemented.

I would love to see that fixed too.

bump as this should be fixed for the XDJ-RX. I bought the RX so I could learn the workflow for the CDJ. Please Please Please help us out!

Jep, don't change the color white or give it a option to select in the settings menu of the XDJ-RX.

Coloring it white is pointless.
