[CLOSED] XDJ R1 - Constant Freezing (Video)

What firmware are you on?

happen on both 1.0.3.  have now updated to 1.0.4.. video is with 1.0.4

i have the same problem and i know all people that buy xdj r1 , i hope in a readings of this forum from pioneer's engineers....to solve fastly this problem!

The engineer would like to know the following things from Sevan after watching the video he attached on the following thread.

1. Does this issue occur in other tracks, too? 

2. What file format does he use? 

3. If he sends us the database with the tracks where the hot cues are set at the same positions which he used in the video on the both decks, it would be very helpful for engineers to sort out the issue. 

The engineers have tried to reproduce this issue, but they failed many times.

Freezing is a critical issue. Please ask user the questions as soon as possible.

enough to play a DJ in front of them for 1 hour to see all the problems....a dj set with 16 gb usb pen and 10 or more folders....the freezing constantly present with tracks at random even on tracks that previously they played well

@Gavin  - I made the video... the tracks are random.. sometimes it works on one track then later it doesnt... it doesnt seem to be one track or another.. they play just fine in folder search without rekordbox...  they are all mp3 files ... 

It appears its a rekordbox issue.. you can see from my second video.. only happens with cue points set in rekordbox and not on the device

happens without even the tracks were processed on rekordbox. happens to me when I play at least 20 minutes when I try to access the folders hangs XDJ r1 hopelessly

@Sevan Kambel-->happened to you that xdj r1 freezing while click access to a folder?

Hasnt frozen up on me on just the usb folder.. but I also havnt used it on more than a handful of tracks .. as I dont trust to use live right now 

I just got my XDJ-R1 TODAY and it froze on me after 2 hours of play and my guess is its too much workload to scroll the same usb while its playing a track on side A. I have a feeling for these things being a really techy guy. its like the hardware inside can't run with all the commands from the multiple features on this unit.  I really hope its fixed in 29 days or less so i dont have to return it....
